Hello! My name is Stacey Sexton and I am a researcher and evaluator with SageFox Consulting Group. One of my current projects is RPPforCS, which seeks to both support and understand how Research Practice Partnerships can be used to scale, spread, and sustain K-12 Computer Science Education. In addition to this rather meta project, I am also on the evaluation team for several of the projects in this community. Other projects I’m working on include research for EPILOGUE, and evaluation for the EPSCoR Attention Consortium.
I am particularly interested in projects that look at the student transition from K-12 to post-secondary education and projects that have the potential to positively impact the most marginalized student populations. I approach my work with a firm commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion and social justice and it is my belief that well-done evaluations are critical to moving educational practice forward to reflect these principles. Outside of work you are likely to find me doing some form of political organizing. I also enjoy gardening, hiking, and taking pictures of my dog.
